A more modern example of a campaign is Coca Cola's 2018 marketing campaign "They don't make 'em like they used to. We do." has a large reminiscent of Elvis Presley. This creates sense of long term popularity with the product as well as using Elvis, an enormous, influential public figure, to convey a sense of fashion with the drink- showing that you can be cool like Elvis if you drink the same drink as he does.
Despite many large companies using billboards and posters to promote their products, there are many other ways to attract an audience due to modern technology. For instance, Warner Bros promoted "Wonder Woman WW1984" by posting it on their social media and getting their actors/ producers to share their posts to gain a large audience. This was an efficient marketing method as people were locked away inside due to COVID-19 and wouldn't see posters or billboards in the train tubes or in cinemas. More ways of promotional marketing are Radio, Newspapers/ magazines, interviews and television adverts.
