DigiPak- Album Network media 11th march
Even though lots of music (for most of you all music is digital) is now consumed via streaming services like: Spotify, apple music. So why is album network still important.
Reasons:
- Shows the artists
- The image is more memorable (easily recall the songs name)
- Can connotate the genre of music to the album cover
- Fairly collectable

- Establishes a genre
- Creates the star image
- Represents the ideology of the band/ artist and clear branding
What to have on an album cover:
- Track list- shows the songs available on the album
- Title of album- brands the album and tells the genre
- Artist/ band name- informs the audience who performed the song
- Record label- promotes the record label company
- Legal info- prevents copy write for lyrics or selling the merchandise illegaly
- Barcode- provides a code to scan for stores to put up for purchase
